The Mac port of SiN
Because I like the idea of Dominatrix supporting all retail versions of SiN that ever released, I ordered the old MacPlay port off Ebay to see if it's data files would work - sadly, they do not, but here are some pictures of the manual (AKA Blade's Journal) and case (alongside the Windows Activision versions) if anyone cares - nothing too different, mostly just changed references from Activision to MacPlay. Sadly this didn't come with the big box - I didn't want to pay for Australian shipping. That Elexis Sinclaire on the front cover though...
Don't worry - Lil' Blade is still in the Mac version of Blade's journal!
As I mentioned earlier, the Mac port's data files are not compatible with Dominatrix. While the leaked code I'm working with is based off the Mac port, it uses Rebecca Heineman's BurgerLib for loading the pak files, which are in a compressed format called Rez (no relation to the LithTech data type!). The old BurgerLib source wasn't included in the leak, so the only code I'm able to work off is the new version on Github. The compression was good enough for MacPlay to fit both the base game and Wages of SiN expansion pack in a single CD, so that's neat.
Maybe one day I'll write a one-off converter/extractor from the RezFile class here and let the user run it if they want to use the Mac version. This isn't a high priority - I'm pretty sure 99.999% of Dominatrix players are using the Steam/GOG files.
